Error Creating Run User Dir

Issue

podman images
Error: creating events dirs: mkdir /run/user/1734230479: permission denied

Background

I re-mapped /home from an old [[RHEL8]] install to a new one and now I cannot run rootless podman. I suspect the issue is an old mapping saying my /run/user dir is 1734230479 when my ID is actually 1734228747

Fix

Delete .local/share/containers/ which contains a DB file with the old ID in it
